Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips gluten free
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts shredded coconut, sea salt, chia seeds

Method
 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice bananas into 1/2-inch thick rounds and place on the sheet.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Dip each banana round halfway into the melted chocolate, then place back on the sheet.
  5. Sprinkle with desired toppings while chocolate is still wet.
  6. Freeze for 10 minutes until chocolate is set.
  7. Serve immediately or store in the freezer.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let thaw for 2 minutes before eating for a softer texture.
